The Problem

Planning a trip can be challenging; users need a streamlined way to plan and track their trips without feeling overwhelmed, ensuring they can enjoy their travel experiences to the fullest.

The Goal

Amazin Trips requires a website to engage users effectively, along with redesigned mobile and web apps to empower users in managing their travel experiences seamlessly.
Challenges Faced
Wide User Range
Amazin Trips caters to a diverse range of users, from solo travellers to medical travellers. Designing for these varied users involves identifying and prioritising their shared/ primary needs while accommodating specialised experiences tailored to their unique requirements.
Limited Users for Research
Amazin Trips is a growing company, not as many users responded as I would like. I worked with the user size to generate some very interesting insights and also used a secondary research method.
Deadlines
As the sole UI/UX Designer, this required efficient time management, prioritization and the ability to make decisions on the go.
Many Potential Features
There are many features stakeholders wish to implement. Through communication and putting the user first, I made sure to design what the user really needs in this MVP.

User Research
Personas and User Journeys
I researched 3 companies in the travel industry and generated insights to improve Amazin Trips travel planning process and UI.
Personas and User Journeys
Provided with 9 user groups I created about 13 personas with accompanying user journeys. Using specific scenarios to create opportunities for improvements and new ideas.
Ideation
By drawing insights from the competitive audit, personas, user journeys and brainstorming with team members. We were able to generate ideas on certain features.
Iterative Design and User Testing
Testing within the team, I identified areas of improvement and found solutions to improve the User Experience of the MVP
